Site Finance Operations Associate (Logistics, Fredericia)

Job summary

This role involves overseeing finance operations at the site level, acting as a key liaison between finance and operations to ensure smooth and transparent processes that support daily activities and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance or finance-administrative role, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or third-party logistics (3PL)
• Strong understanding of invoicing, accounts payable, accruals, and cost reporting
• Proficient in Excel and Office; familiarity with SAP is advantageous
• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to managing end-to-end processes
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic operational environment
• Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders across various functions

Responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Receivable process, including sales order creation, invoicing, and follow-up on unbilled orders and overdue balances
• Oversee Accounts Payable activities, including purchase order creation, invoice booking, and vendor payments
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance and governance of finance data and deadlines
• Collaborate with controlling and site management on contracts and financial handling
• Serve as the finance interface for key stakeholders such as Operations and Customer Service
• Drive continuous improvement in finance and administrative processes
• Maintain proper documentation and process maintenance

Education
