About the role

Job summary

The role involves managing the tender process for offshore wind projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and delivering competitive tender submissions. You will be the primary contact for clients, leading negotiations and facilitating a smooth handover to project teams after contract signing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BSc) in a commercial discipline or engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant industry experience, particularly in commercial and contractual matters.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiations and stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of Wind Turbine Installation Vessel (WTIV) operations is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire tender process, ensuring all steps are completed as per the Tender Process Manual.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive tender packages, including pricing, risk analysis, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain timelines and proactively address any challenges that arise during the tender process.
  • Communicate significant changes in the tender to stakeholders promptly.
  • Collaborate with Contract Management and Legal teams during contract negotiations.
  • Drive the approval process for tenders and contracts with Executive Management.
  • Contribute to the development of new client relationships and markets to expand the company's global presence.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills and analytical mindset.
  • Structured approach to managing complex challenges and tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools.

Education

  • BSc degree (or higher) in a commercial discipline or engineering is preferred.
