Job summary

The Inside Sales Manager serves as the primary contact for customers regarding proposals and order execution, overseeing all activities within the designated area. This role is crucial for ensuring timely case handling, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the proposal handling and order execution process from inquiry to order acknowledgment, including kickoff meetings and comprehensive case management.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders about orders, deliveries, claims, and payments, ensuring customers are kept informed.
  • Manage contracts and commercial terms, ensuring compliance with established conditions.
  • Update customer guidelines and maintain high-quality communication regarding inquiries, proposal updates, and service documentation.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Trade Finance teams to meet execution and delivery commitments.
  • Verify alignment of customer purchase orders with approved proposals and manage timely booking of purchase orders.
  • Provide accurate updates on order status and delivery schedules based on supply chain data.
  • Support Outside Sales with historical sales data, pricing insights, and CRM reporting.
  • Maintain data integrity across CRM and case management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Export Control regulations and manage customer claims effectively.
  • Follow up on overdue payments in collaboration with finance teams to ensure compliance with payment terms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • 5–8 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, order management, or commercial operations, preferably in B2B industrial sectors.
