Senior Specialist, Merchandise Planning

Job summary

This role focuses on supporting the transformation of the Merchandising Planning organization through the implementation of a new planning platform. The Senior Specialist will act as a primary expert and trainer, ensuring operational excellence and quality during the transition.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in merchandising planning, inventory planning, forecasting, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with o9, including system implementations and user adoption.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end planning processes and operational workflows.
• Experience in creating and delivering training and coaching.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for translating complex processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as o9 Super User, providing expertise and support during the rollout.
• Design and deliver training for peers transitioning to o9.
• Identify and address system gaps or process misalignments.
• Document best practices and maintain training materials.
• Support change management and ensure planning quality.
• Participate in live planning cycles and promote process standardization.
• Drive process and tool optimization in collaboration with planning colleagues.
