Senior Specialist - Industrialization Lead

Job summary

In this role, you will oversee industrialization projects for wind turbine blades from initial concept through to implementation, ensuring timely and efficient delivery for scalable manufacturing. You will collaborate with various stakeholders across the value chain to enhance product design and manufacturing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage project implementation in line with the established framework, representing manufacturing in cross-functional teams.
• Lead discussions on new products and technologies, ensuring manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
• Set targets for cost, quality, safety, and delivery.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from launch to decommissioning, maintaining accountability for key performance metrics.
• Participate in strategic working groups with R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality.

• Engineering degree.
• Significant industrial experience in manufacturing or R&D, particularly in launching new products.
• Preferred certifications in Project/Portfolio Management (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, IPMA, PMP) and Risk Management (e.g., M_o_R).
• Strong project execution skills, including budgeting and meeting objectives.
• Ability to influence product design for manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
• Experience in ensuring process readiness and stable ramp-up at manufacturing sites.
• Proficient in managing trade-offs between cost, quality, safety, and delivery.
• Effective cross-functional leadership capabilities.
• Skilled in developing should-cost models for informed decision-making.
