Senior Software Quality Manager (Mechatronics)

Job summary

This role focuses on ensuring the quality of software and firmware for a new play system, emphasizing user experience and product reliability. The Senior Software Quality Manager will develop and implement quality strategies, set performance objectives, and oversee the qualification of the software ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in Software Test Management, Software Engineering, and Embedded Software/Firmware Development.
• ISTQB test management certification preferred.
• Familiarity with JIRA, JAMA, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience in interdisciplinary development activities is advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality strategies for software/firmware verification and validation.
• Set quality objectives and performance targets.
• Ensure comprehensive qualification of the software/firmware ecosystem.
• Drive release goals for firmware and applications.
• Manage defect triaging and recommend quality decisions.
• Collaborate with project teams on quality assurance and resource allocation.
• Report and mitigate risks related to quality and technical feasibility.
• Build quality assurance capabilities across teams.
