Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain critical systems and services that support a global brokerage platform. You will lead regional recruitment initiatives, mentor engineering talent, and ensure operational reliability during business hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a full-stack engineer with a strong background in designing scalable applications.
• Proficiency in Go or similar backend languages, with expertise in system architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with global teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to act as incident commander and troubleshoot incidents effectively.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and software engineering experience.
• Experience with event-driven design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design a highly scalable brokerage system.
• Develop and enhance middle- and back-office systems, including microservices and UI components.
• Collaborate with core teams to enhance the framework for multi-language and multi-currency support.
• Troubleshoot incidents and maintain system integrity.
• Navigate regulatory requirements and build scalable solutions for international growth.

Skills

• Strong communication and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Experience with AI tooling and emerging technologies is a plus.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with gRPC, React, and financial APIs is advantageous.
