Software Engineer (Infrastructure-as-Code, Remote)

Job summary

This role is focused on developing and enhancing core Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) capabilities utilized by a global engineering community. The position involves managing a Go-based Terraform provider that supports critical infrastructure workflows, ensuring a reliable and user-friendly developer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in platform engineering or infrastructure tooling.
• Proficient in Go with a track record of delivering production-grade developer tools.
• Experience with Terraform providers and understanding of declarative resource models.
• Familiarity with schema design, versioning strategies, and backwards compatibility.
• Experience in contributing to widely used infrastructure tools.
• Knowledge of testing strategies for IaC systems, including unit and integration testing.
• Strong written communication skills for technical documentation.
• Nice to have: experience with TypeScript tooling or GitHub automation workflows.
