Senior Front-end Developer

Job summary

The role involves building the next generation Account portal experience for customers, collaborating with a team that includes a lead front-end developer, UX/UI designer, backend developers, and testers. The position requires a strong software engineering background with a focus on agile methodologies and ownership of code quality and design.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years of proven experience in Angular, including knowledge of RxJS and state management.
• Proficient in web development using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with memory management concepts.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Passion for new technologies and user empathy.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product architecture, core components, and environment setup.
• Engage in technical investigations and ensure high-quality, resilient products.
• Collaborate within self-organizing agile teams using Scrum methodology.
• Expand code coverage through unit, integration, and automated UI testing.

Skills

• Experience with Angular and Angular Material.
• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices for site performance.
• Familiarity with automated web UI testing frameworks like Playwright.
• Experience in integrating Angular components with RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Docker and Azure DevOps.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
