Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and scaling of systems that support market data services for a financial technology company. You will work on enhancing the architecture related to data products and oversee the public API structure and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in backend software development
• Proficient with Docker or Kubernetes
• DevOps mindset and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable market data provider services
• Ensure high software quality and maintain test coverage
• Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot incidents and bugs

Skills

• Experience with large datasets and SQL
• Understanding of financial markets and IP networking
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservice architectures
