Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Denmark)

Job summary

This role focuses on the design, operation, and evolution of high-performance API and data infrastructure that supports the global reuse of content. The position emphasizes reliability, scalability, and observability for critical services, requiring hands-on engineering and incident response.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Go, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (e.g., GitLab, ArgoCD).
• Understanding of SRE principles including SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus or OpenTelemetry.
• Proven skills in incident response and postmortem analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and improve SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets for critical services.
• Enhance observability systems including metrics, logging, and tracing.
• Participate in incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Build and maintain CI/CD and GitOps pipelines for secure deployments.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation practices.
• Design scalable cloud infrastructure across production environments.
• Drive capacity planning and resilience testing.
• Collaborate with teams to embed reliability and security best practices.
• Optimize infrastructure cost and efficiency using FinOps principles.
• Mentor peers and promote best practices in SRE and automation.
