Senior Service Warranty Manager (Renewable Energy, Hybrid)

Job summary

This role involves managing service and warranty cases within the offshore wind sector, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and optimizing warranty utilization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, with a focus on technical issues and a commercial mindset.
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical role within the offshore wind industry.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Proven project management capabilities to handle multiple warranty projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve high-value service and warranty cases in collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Ensure contractual deliverables are met in Turbine Supply Agreements, Service and Warranty Agreements, and Balance of Plant contracts.
• Coordinate warranty inspection activities related to asset conditions.
• Analyze reports and findings that impact warranties and facilitate further reviews.
• Manage feedback and resources from Engineering to support warranty positions.
• Oversee activities related to warranty claims with stakeholders such as Asset Management and Engineering.
• Capture lessons learned from contract performance and suggest improvements for monitoring services.

Skills

Education

• Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
