Job summary

This role involves supporting enterprise sales engagements and assisting customers in adopting a modern data security and management platform. The position is ideal for a high-performing Sales Engineer with expertise in security, data protection, and cloud technologies, focusing on complex customer engagements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting in enterprise environments, specifically in infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud architectures.
  • Strong understanding of data security concepts, including ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, and access controls.
  • Familiarity with competitive technologies and skills in competitive positioning.
  • Experience in supporting proofs of concept and technical decision processes.
  • Ability to translate technical architecture into clear customer value and business outcomes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • English language proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new customer and expansion opportunities by articulating the data cloud portfolio to both business and technical audiences.
  • Provide expert technical support throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, demos, and proofs of concept.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop technical strategies for enterprise opportunities, contributing to deal progression.
  • Enable customers to integrate products into existing environments, responding to technical requests promptly.
  • Lead technical engagements such as product demonstrations, workshops, and evaluations.
  • Identify customer requirements and risks, shaping proofs of concept to showcase the company's value in cyber resilience and data security.
  • Assist in competitive displacement conversations by understanding customer environments.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to relay customer feedback for product improvements.
  • Provide post-sales technical assistance or project support to ensure successful outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Skills

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to manage complex customer situations professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and support decision-making.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.

Tools

  • Familiarity with cloud, data, or adjacent technologies is a plus.
