Senior Risk Management Manager (Aarhus)

Job summary

Oversee the risk management framework for significant renewable energy projects, focusing on standardization, governance, and continuous improvement of risk processes within a global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in risk management within an OEM or relevant industrial environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, FRM, CIA) are advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the risk management framework, tools, methodologies, and documentation.
• Standardize risk processes, templates, and reporting across the value chain.
• Manage deployment, training, communication, and user adoption of the risk framework.
• Ensure alignment with governance and enterprise risk-related processes.
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and user feedback.
• Clarify risk roles, responsibilities, ownership, and accountability.
• Support Risk Officers with effective risk reporting and serve as the primary contact for audits and inquiries.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of operational risk management frameworks and governance.
• Experience with risk reporting tools and processing risk data.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and regions.
• Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills.

Education

• B.Sc., M.Sc., or MBA in a relevant field.

Tools
