Senior Project Manager (Transport and Logistics)

Job summary

This role involves leading large-scale transformation and integration projects within the Project Management Office, focusing on supporting the organization's global strategy. The position requires collaboration with senior stakeholders and project teams across various functional areas.

Qualifications

• Several years of project management experience with large corporate projects, preferably in a global PMO within the transport and logistics sector.
• Experience with TMS/WMS implementations, enterprise-wide IT transformations, system migrations, business process harmonization, multi-country rollouts, and vendor management.
• Exposure to financial applications like SAP is a plus.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as project management or process management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in corporate English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex enterprise-level programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Develop business integration projects from initiation to operations, adhering to PMO processes and governance.
• Manage senior-level stakeholders, negotiating resources and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct advanced risk and escalation management, devising strategic plans to mitigate potential risks.
• Enhance reporting mechanisms and maintain a communication strategy for project updates.
• Potentially manage external partners, service providers, and consultants.

Education
