Senior Project Manager (Research and Innovation, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading a European research project focused on AI-based hearing technology, coordinating a multidisciplinary consortium to develop innovative hearing solutions. The position requires effective governance and management of project execution, ensuring compliance with EU regulations and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing EU-funded research projects or major research initiatives, ideally within Horizon Europe.
• Strong expertise in project governance, reporting, financial coordination, and EU compliance.
• Ability to work with large, multidisciplinary, international teams.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills in English.
• Capability to operate independently and take leadership in complex project environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project governance structures, ensuring efficient decision-making and communication.
• Serve as the primary contact with the European Commission, ensuring alignment with Horizon Europe requirements.
• Manage Grant and Consortium Agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of deliverables, reports, and financial statements.
• Monitor project progress against milestones and KPIs, identifying risks and coordinating corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain risk management and mitigation plans, coordinating ethics procedures.
• Coordinate the External Expert Advisory Board and support scientific and innovation alignment.
• Ensure compliance with data management plans and relevant regulations.
• Support intellectual property management and innovation activities across the consortium.
• Lead dissemination and communication efforts, representing the project in relevant networks.

Education

• A master’s degree is required.
