Senior Project Manager (R&D Medical Devices)

Job summary

The role involves leading the development of innovative medical devices and 3D scanning solutions within a collaborative environment. The Senior Project Manager will oversee complex product development projects, ensuring alignment across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field
• 6-8 years of experience in leading new product development projects in technical environments
• Experience in R&D and/or manufacturing organizations
• Familiarity with regulated industries such as medical devices or diagnostics is preferred
• Knowledge of international medical device standards like FDA 21 CFR 820 & EU MDR and ISO 13485 is advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept to production
• Facilitate collaboration across international cross-functional teams
• Develop and maintain project plans and stakeholder alignment
• Identify and manage project risks and dependencies
• Drive project execution to ensure successful delivery
• Support requirements management and risk management activities
• Lead design reviews with technical experts
• Coordinate with external development partners and vendors

Education
