Senior Project Manager (Product Development, Skjern)

Job summary

The role involves leading high-impact product development projects from concept to market launch within a complex matrix organization. The Senior Project Manager will ensure successful delivery while balancing business objectives, customer value, and organizational alignment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field
• Significant experience in leading large cross-functional engineering projects or programs
• Strong knowledge of product development processes, stage-gate, and/or agile methodologies
• Solid commercial and financial understanding, including business case and budget ownership
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels
• Coaching mindset to develop teams and individuals

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept through to market launch
• Drive execution across R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions
• Develop and manage business cases, project plans, budgets, and governance structures
• Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget
• Identify, assess, and manage risks while maintaining transparency and quality
• Build alignment among stakeholders, including senior leaders and executives
• Support organizational development through coaching of project managers and teams

Skills

• Strong project management expertise with collaborative leadership
• Ability to navigate complexity through influence and clear direction
• Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience managing outsourced product development and external partners
• Experience leading development of connected products integrated with digital platforms is highly valued

Education

• Preferably hold a recognized project management certification such as IPMA Level B or equivalent

Tools

• Familiarity with project management and product development tools relevant to engineering and digital solutions.
