Job summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading complex automation projects across the Nordics, ensuring their success, quality, and strategic impact. This role requires a strong ability to influence without authority and deliver excellence from concept to completion.

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of progressive project management experience.
  • Proven success in delivering large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects with strategic impact.
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to influence without authority.
  • Experience in managing budgets, risks, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies.
  • PMP certification is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80% annually) to customer sites and meetings in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the initiation, planning, and execution of strategic automation projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Develop project governance, business cases, and charters for stakeholder alignment.
  • Build integrated project plans using advanced project management tools.
  • Lead and motivate high-performing project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Develop resource plans for optimal utilization across multiple projects.
  • Monitor progress, manage critical paths, and implement corrective actions.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Develop communication plans for clarity and proactive engagement.
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure compliance with contracts.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial discipline.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
