Senior Project Manager (Civil Engineering, Denmark)

Job summary

The role of Senior Project Manager involves overseeing the management and delivery of civil engineering contracts within the region, ensuring operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction. This position requires a strategic leader who will report to the Regional Director and manage all aspects of project execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project programmes, method statements, and submission documentation.
• Chair project start-up and internal coordination meetings.
• Develop procurement strategies and manage preliminary Commercial Risk Registers.
• Oversee consultant and subcontractor design delivery, including BIM implementation.
• Monitor site progress against programme and control project budgets.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQS standards throughout project execution.
• Lead the PDP process for project team members and promote continuous development.

Qualifications

• Relevant sector experience with demonstrable end-to-end project management.
• Technical knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, and M&E aspects.
• IOSH or equivalent health & safety management certification.

Skills

• Proficient in BIM concepts and digital project delivery tools.
• Proven commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Education

• Academic/professional qualification in a construction-related subject is desirable.

Tools

• Familiarity with BREEAM, LEED, or CEEQUAL sustainability standards is a plus.
