Senior Project Management Capability Lead (Construction, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing the practical execution of project management within an operational excellence framework. The Capability Lead will collaborate with experienced project managers and stakeholders to develop and implement effective project management practices across a global portfolio.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in engineering, project management, business, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in management consulting, business excellence, transformation roles, or project management.
• Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is required.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve key project management capabilities, including stakeholder and communication management.
• Develop practical capability products such as playbooks and tools for project managers.
• Maintain the Project Manager tiering model to align capability expectations with project complexity.
• Embed capability frameworks into real project environments and support continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for AI and digital tools to enhance project management execution.
• Engage with project managers and stakeholders to gather insights and translate them into scalable solutions.

• Strong facilitation and structured problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.
• Digitally curious with an interest in AI-enabled workflows.

Education

• A relevant degree in engineering, project management, business, or similar.

Tools
