Senior Product Manager (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves taking full ownership of a product area, focusing on the API surface and the overall experience for customers and internal teams. The position requires a high level of technical expertise and collaboration with engineering teams to drive product development and integration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a product manager in a high-growth environment.
• Background in payroll, HR, benefits, fintech, or related fields.
• Strong judgment for strategic prioritization and tactical feature decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve self-driven results that positively impact product direction.
• Excellent product design sense (UX).
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Bonus: Experience working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering leads on architecture and technical direction.
• Prototype and write code to validate ideas and address open questions.
• Own API design, versioning, and developer experience for integrations.
• Conduct root cause analysis to address workflow pain points.
• Ensure product adoption and ongoing usage post-delivery.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide context.
• Document decisions and rationale clearly for team transparency.

Skills

• Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code for building and debugging.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills across departments.

Education

• Relevant experience in product management or related fields is essential.

Tools

• Familiarity with tools for prototyping and coding is required.
