Senior Product Manager (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves owning the product area end-to-end, focusing on the API surface and the overall experience for customers and internal teams. The position requires a high level of technical depth and collaboration with engineering teams to guide architecture and design quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a product manager in a high-growth environment.
• Background in payroll, HR, benefits, fintech, or related fields.
• Strong judgment for strategic and tactical decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to drive product results independently.
• Solid understanding of product design and user experience.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in cross-departmental collaboration.
• Business-level proficiency in English.
• Bonus: Experience working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering leads on technical direction and design reviews.
• Prototype and write code to validate ideas and reduce risks.
• Ensure API quality and manage developer experience for integrations.
• Conduct root cause analysis to address operational pain points.
• Take ownership of product adoption and ongoing usage.
• Engage with payroll and tax experts for research and requirements gathering.
• Document decisions and processes clearly for team transparency.

Skills

• Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code for building and debugging.
• Strong product design sense and user experience focus.
• Ability to prioritize effectively based on strategic goals.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in product management or related fields.

Tools

• Familiarity with prototyping tools and coding environments relevant to the role.
