Job summary

In this role, you will shape the cybersecurity architecture for advanced hearing aid platforms, ensuring that security is integrated from the design phase through to long-term development. You will work closely with a team of architects and engineers to create secure, innovative technologies that enhance everyday life.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in product cybersecurity, particularly with embedded and connected products.
  • Strong background in security architecture across both software and hardware domains.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements, especially in medical devices.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic systems and algorithms, including post-quantum cryptography.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the cybersecurity architecture for advanced hearing aid platforms.
  • Conduct threat modeling, attack surface analysis, and risk assessments early in product development.
  • Specify and review security requirements and technical solutions across embedded systems, software, and hardware.
  • Contribute to security design decisions, including secure communication and key management.
  • Evaluate product security risks and regulatory expectations to guide technical direction.
  • Support security testing and root cause analysis for product security issues.
  • Monitor emerging threats and technology developments to enhance security posture.
  • Develop security principles and engineering practices across the organization.
  • Mentor colleagues to improve product cybersecurity capabilities.
