Senior Process Automation Engineer (Pharmaceutical, Virum)

Job summary

The role involves working as a Senior Process Automation Engineer within a large Process Automation team focused on delivering automation solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. The position is based in Virum, Denmark, and requires a strong background in process automation and control systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in process automation or related fields.
• Degree in engineering, preferably in electrical, automation, process, or marine engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience with PCS/DCS application development in a GMP/GAMP environment.
• Familiarity with batch production processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultancy on application process solutions to clients.
• Design, develop, program, commission, qualify, and hand over applications for Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
• Collaborate with process experts and colleagues on surrounding systems and equipment.
• Develop and optimize automation methods and strategies to meet customer needs.
• Establish automation strategies and architectures to support international departments.
