Senior Principal Program Manager

Job summary

This role focuses on building a Strategic Program Management capability within a large fintech organization. The position involves managing a portfolio of cross-functional programs and projects, ensuring disciplined execution on strategic initiatives, and providing visibility to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in technology or product development.
• Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with structured program management and delivery-focused project execution.
• Experience with compliance-related programs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of cross-functional programs and projects with accountability for outcomes and stakeholder communication.
• Establish program governance, including clear ownership and progress reporting.
• Coordinate across various teams to resolve dependencies and keep projects on track.
• Contribute to the management system by making program status and risks visible to stakeholders.
• Partner with Change & Organizational Development for programs requiring shifts in working methods.

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing executive-level material.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and switch between strategic and operational thinking.
• Collaborative working style with a focus on building alignment and addressing challenges directly.

Education

• Degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field. Project management certification is a plus.

Tools

• Familiarity with engineering tooling environments and AI strategy is beneficial.
