Job summary

This role involves leading the transformation of portfolio and PMO functions within an organization for a 6-month contract. The focus is on enhancing governance, project execution, and overall portfolio management to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in portfolio management within complex organizations undergoing transformations, with projects and operations running concurrently.
  • Proven track record in establishing or enhancing PMO/TMO or portfolio governance frameworks.
  • Background in regulated sectors such as banking, pensions, or financial services.
  • Ability to translate governance and portfolio requirements into practical processes and tool usage, maintaining a tool-agnostic approach.

Responsibilities

Consultant setup

  • Design and implement initiatives for portfolio and PMO transformation.
  • Develop and enforce best practices, methodologies, and governance frameworks for effective portfolio and project management.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment of portfolio activities with strategic objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery performance and enhance portfolio reporting.
  • Manage change and communicate progress of transformation initiatives to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor PMO team members to improve their capabilities and performance.
  • Must be based in Denmark and available for in-office presence.
  • Options include one full-time consultant with extensive portfolio/transformation experience or two part-time consultants with complementary skills in portfolio management and delivery tools.
