Job summary

The Senior Portfolio Manager will oversee governance and reporting for a segment of the global Workplace Solutions & Operations project portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with senior leaders, finance, and project teams to ensure effective portfolio planning, prioritization, and execution across various sites.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Preferred formal training or certification in project, program, or portfolio management.
  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale project portfolios within engineering or industrial environments.
  • Proven track record in portfolio governance and reporting.
  • Strong collaboration experience with finance on portfolio planning and investment tracking.
  • Hands-on experience with portfolio management systems.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical skills for translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working with sensitive data.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Manage governance and reporting for the global Workplace Solutions & Operations project portfolio, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and financial performance.
  • Drive portfolio planning and prioritization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivery capacity.
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders during the annual planning cycle and ongoing performance reporting.
  • Act as the primary contact for staffing and execution of greenfield and larger brownfield projects.
  • Support the implementation of WS&O strategy through effective governance and reporting.
  • Work with the PMO to ensure consistent standards and practices across operations and engineering.
  • Continuously enhance portfolio management practices to improve overall portfolio maturity.
