Senior PMO Manager

Job summary

The role involves optimizing resource, capacity, and financial planning within the R&D Chronic Care organization. The Senior PMO Manager will provide insights that enable informed investment decisions and balance portfolio ambitions with execution realities.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in PMO, portfolio management, resource management, capacity planning, finance planning, or business controlling.
• Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Life Science, Technology, or a related field.
• Strong background in resource planning, capacity management, financial forecasting, or portfolio planning in complex organizations.
• Familiarity with OPEX/CAPEX planning, FTE planning, and financial decision support.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Drive and enhance the resource and finance planning process across R&D.
• Provide insights to optimize portfolio investments and resource allocation.
• Create demand and capacity views by project and phase, identifying bottlenecks.
• Manage resource planning cycles and support portfolio capacity reviews.
• Build and analyze portfolio scenarios for strategic evaluation.
• Consolidate resource, cost, and capacity data for senior leadership decision-making.
• Oversee input for OPEX, CAPEX, and FTE planning.
• Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, reviews, and reporting.
• Monitor actuals versus forecasts to improve accuracy.

Education

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.

• Experience with resource management systems and financial forecasting tools is advantageous.
