Senior Operations Manager

Job summary

We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to enhance the efficiency of our Prototype Studio, which supports Product and Marketing Development teams in creating and testing innovative ideas. This role involves streamlining operations and taking ownership of key initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize operational processes across software, hardware, and prototyping workflows.
• Establish clear process documentation and compliance frameworks.
• Oversee planning, resourcing, and scheduling for multiple agile projects.
• Improve workflows for various labs to facilitate rapid prototyping.
• Provide leadership status reports on studio activities and resource management.
• Manage daily operations of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of communication and documentation.
• Coordinate logistics, travel, and events for the team.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate suppliers for reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in operational, production, or program management within prototyping or product development environments.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing workflows.
• Proven ability to implement operational systems and compliance structures.
• Experience in digital and software project roll-outs.
• Excellent organizational and process-building skills.
• Strong written documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in workflow tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• High analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-starter with a structured approach and strong communication skills.
