Job summary

A permanent position is available for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the delivery of innovative engineering projects over the next 5+ years. The role involves working with a dynamic, multi-functional team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Over 5 years of project engineering experience with a mechanical contractor.
• Proven track record in delivering small to medium mechanical projects in sectors such as commercial, industrial, pharmaceuticals, and data centers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical design with onsite installation and ensure successful project commissioning.
• Compile design documents and drawings, and prepare coordinated drawings for installations.
• Evaluate cost-saving opportunities and assist in producing weekly progress reports.
• Manage requisitions, purchase orders, and verify incoming equipment and materials.
• Liaise with design teams and contractors on technical and commercial issues.
• Conduct quality control inspections and prepare method statements and risk assessments.
