Job summary

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Operations is responsible for leading the global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring effective governance and alignment across demand, supply, and financial planning. This role is crucial for managing complexity as the organization grows, providing visibility into demand signals and supply constraints while supporting scenario planning and financial forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the global monthly S&OP process, including Demand Review, Supply Review, and Executive S&OP meetings.
  • Consolidate demand inputs from global commercial functions and ensure alignment with forecasts and product lifecycle plans.
  • Identify and escalate supply constraints, driving scenario planning to aid decision-making.
  • Align inventory strategies across distribution networks and third-party logistics partners.
  • Ensure S&OP outputs align with financial plans, supporting rolling forecasts and budget cycles.
  • Establish and maintain S&OP KPIs and ensure data consistency across planning systems.
  • Continuously assess and improve the S&OP framework, identifying gaps and implementing optimized processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7–10 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning or S&OP in a global organization.
  • Experience in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • Familiarity with outsourced manufacturing models and working with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
  • Proficient in SAP ERP and planning tools; experience with financial planning processes is a plus.
