Senior Manager, Procurement Contracts

Job summary

The Senior Manager, Procurement Contracts plays a crucial role in shaping procurement strategies for engineering and construction projects. This position involves both leadership and hands-on management of procurement activities, ensuring compliance with established processes and standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with EU Utility Directive/public procurement on large EPC projects.
• Proven track record in managing third-party procurement, subcontracting, and contracting.
• Extensive experience in drafting contracts and agreements.
• Strong background in managing pre-contract processes, including pre-qualification and tender evaluations.
• Experience in overseeing post-award processes, including contract administration and dispute resolution.
• Familiarity with standard forms of contract such as FIDIC, IChemE, LOGIC, NEC, and bespoke contracts.
• Background in the industrial engineering sector, particularly in oil & gas, chemical, and energy transition industries.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and advise on procurement strategy for third-party works.
• Prepare Project Execution Plans related to Contracts Management.
• Compile Request for Information and Request for Proposal evaluation plans.
• Coordinate Technical Bid Evaluations and compile award recommendations.
• Oversee pre and post-award contract activities, ensuring effective communication and documentation management.
• Manage correspondence from contractors and ensure timely responses and close-outs.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and management systems.
