Senior Manager, Novelty Development

Job summary

The Senior Manager will lead a team of approximately 10 specialists, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to deliver special novelties through the novelty development process. This role involves overseeing the introduction of decoration and assembly solutions from design handover to production implementation, ensuring quality, timing, and cost are balanced effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering or project teams in delivering complex technical projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project delivery with accountability for quality, cost, and timelines.
• Expertise in engineering-related environments or similar technical fields.
• Experience directing technical leads and providing guidance on development and design work.
• Strong project management skills across multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent in English (C1 level or above) with excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a specialist team to deliver novelties according to business commitments.
• Drive risk reduction across the novelty portfolio and support successful introductions.
• Implement continuous improvements throughout the novelty flow.
• Oversee complex technical development projects requiring additional leadership.
• Resolve production or launch-related issues connected to novelty implementation.
• Transform designs from Product Development into manufacturable solutions across global sites.

Skills

• Experience with change management practices in technical environments.
• Familiarity with Scrum methodologies in project settings.

Education
