Senior Manager, ESG Compliance (Corporate Sustainability, Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on shaping the global strategy for Human Rights and ESG Compliance within the Corporate Sustainability team, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements and effective business implementation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in law, social science, business administration, or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of ESG and human rights regulations (e.g., EU CSDDD, EUDR, EUBR) and corporate compliance.
• Proven experience in developing compliance frameworks and governance models.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment in global organizations.
• Excellent communication skills for translating complex regulations into actionable guidance.
• Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and solution development.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic direction for ESG compliance in collaboration with Legal and Governance teams.
• Develop enterprise-wide compliance roadmaps and governance structures aligned with sustainability strategies.
• Oversee the implementation of key ESG compliance roadmaps and ensure accountability within business units.
• Provide expert guidance on ESG compliance to various functions, including Procurement.
• Monitor external trends and regulatory changes to anticipate impacts on the business.
• Support cross-functional governance to manage supply chain risks effectively.
