Senior Manager, Alliance Management (Biotechnology, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading and optimizing alliance management processes within a biotechnology context, ensuring partnerships deliver maximum operational, strategic, and commercial value. The position requires a strong focus on business alignment and operational excellence to support the growth of pharmaceutical and biotech partnerships.

Qualifications

• Approximately 6 years of experience in alliance management, project management, or commercialization within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certification in alliance management or project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance activities for alliances, including agenda preparation and decision-making facilitation.
• Define and optimize internal and external processes for alliance management.
• Manage data reporting on alliance portfolios and design metrics reports for leadership.
• Champion the integration of digital and AI tools to enhance operations and decision-making.
• Contribute to the commercial success of alliances throughout the product lifecycle.
• Serve as a liaison between the organization and partners to foster collaboration.
• Monitor alliance health metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure integrated support for partnered programs.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage milestone tracking.

Skills

• Strong understanding of drug development and commercialization processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 and partnership management systems; familiarity with digital tools and data analytics is advantageous.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
