Senior Liaison Advisor (Partnerships, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves building and managing relationships with EU institutions and mobilizing resources for international programs. The position is based in Copenhagen and focuses on enhancing the organization's engagement with European stakeholders to secure funding and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in leading EU projects and managing relationships.
• Proven track record with major institutional donors, including proposal development and grants management.
• Experience in stakeholder management and external representation.
• Ability to develop concepts and coordinate proposal development involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong background in quality assurance and reporting for international projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic engagement with EU institutions and stakeholders in Brussels.
• Facilitate networking between EU stakeholders, headquarters, country offices, and partners.
• Identify and pursue EU funding opportunities for programs and partnerships.
• Build relationships with key EU stakeholders and represent the organization in external forums.
• Develop strategic briefs and updates on EU policy developments and funding opportunities.
• Ensure coordination and information sharing between the Brussels office and relevant departments.
• Monitor EU policies and funding priorities, communicating strategic implications across the organization.
• Support project design, partnership development, and proposal processes.
• Enhance visibility among EU donors through targeted outreach and communications.
