Job summary

The role involves shaping the global information landscape for a major transport and logistics organization by defining the Enterprise Information Model. The Senior Information Architect will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance data governance and support business processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in information architecture, data architecture, or data modeling.
• Strong proficiency in ERD, ORM, or similar modeling techniques.
• Experience in defining data contracts, naming conventions, and data standards.
• Understanding of transactional and analytical data environments.
• Knowledge of data-serialization technologies such as Avro.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and document global conceptual and logical data models.
• Analyze business processes to develop meaningful information models.
• Ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices in information architecture.
• Communicate and embed the Enterprise Information Model across business and IT.
• Guide IT teams on implementing the Enterprise Information Model.
• Support integration planning for consistent information usage across systems.
• Collaborate to identify relationships and opportunities for standardization.

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, or a related field is preferred.
