Senior HSEQ Engineer (Offshore Wind, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves overseeing Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management for Foundation Installation projects in the offshore wind sector. The position requires collaboration with project leadership and serves as the primary contact for HSEQ activities, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement in processes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or NEBOSH National General Certificate
• Over 10 years of experience in HSEQ within the offshore wind industry
• Certified ISO 14001 & 45001 (Lead) Auditor
• Certification in investigation training (e.g., TriPod Beta, Kelvin TOP-SET)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Foundation Installation is a strong advantage
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain project HSE deliverables (H&S plan, Environmental Plan, Emergency management plans)
• Review legal and contractual HSE requirements to ensure compliance
• Coordinate HSE activities with clients and subcontractors
• Conduct HSE reporting, both internal and external
• Participate in HAZID sessions and Design Risk Assessments
• Review installation Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
• Monitor implementation of HSE procedures on-site and on vessels
• Review HSE documentation from suppliers and subcontractors, and conduct audits
• Investigate HSEQ incidents and follow up on HSE issues
• Support quality assurance on processes and documentation

Education

• Engineering degree or equivalent certification in HSEQ
