Senior Health & Safety Campus Lead (Construction, Denmark)

Job summary

The Senior Health & Safety Campus Lead is responsible for providing operational support to project teams, ensuring the consistent application of health, safety, environment, quality, and wellbeing standards on-site. This role involves leadership at the campus level and direct management of a team of Health & Safety Managers.

Qualifications

• CMIOSH & member of IEMA (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in the construction industry
• Minimum of 12 years as a Health and Safety professional
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
• Lead Auditor or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Exhibit strong H&S leadership and support the Campus Project Director and Project Manager
• Serve as the main contact for H&S matters with clients and their representatives
• Manage a team of 2-4 Campus based H&S Managers
• Ensure compliance with company standards and policies, including conducting Health Checks and Risk Reviews
• Investigate accidents/incidents and communicate lessons learned
• Monitor Health and Safety performance and prepare reports
• Stay updated on legislation to provide competent H&S advice
• Identify learning and development needs for self and team members

Education

• Ideally possess a qualification in engineering or construction technology/management
• Additional training in Health and Safety specialisms is beneficial

• Familiarity with relevant Health and Safety management tools and software
