Health & Safety Advisor (On-site, Offshore, Energy Sector)

Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support offshore and fieldwork operations within the energy sector. This role involves ensuring the implementation of health and safety practices across international offshore wind farm projects, with a focus on enhancing the safety culture within the organization.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in offshore operations and fieldwork, preferably in the energy or offshore industry.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Strong team player with an open-minded and responsible attitude.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Danish is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Legal right to work in Denmark is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvements in health and safety practices and maintain ISO 45001 certification.
• Engage in projects from inception, ensuring proactive health and safety measures during installation activities.
• Support global business units in meeting health and safety requirements and conduct risk assessments for offshore and fieldwork.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance health and safety awareness and competency.
• Foster a positive safety culture through proactive communication and engagement.

• Proficient in risk assessment and management practices.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Tools

• Familiarity with health and safety management systems and ISO standards.
