Senior Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager

Job summary

The role involves leading food safety and quality compliance within an international team, focusing on convenience suppliers. The Senior FSQA Manager will onboard new private label products, implement best practices, and drive improvements in food safety and quality to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of experience in a quality or food safety management role within the food industry.
• Experience with chilled ready-to-eat foods is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in auditing food manufacturers.
• Knowledge of EU food labeling regulations is required.
• Familiarity with product packaging artwork approval in accordance with EU regulations is desirable.
• Additional qualifications in food quality and safety (e.g., HACCP, internal auditing) are highly desirable.
• Excellent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the onboarding process for new suppliers and private label products, ensuring compliance with food safety, legal, and quality standards.
• Conduct on-site supplier visits and audits to facilitate approval and drive quality improvements.
• Develop best practice methodologies for working with suppliers and internal teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
• Investigate quality and food safety issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Take ownership of category performance metrics related to compliance and customer satisfaction.

Education

• Relevant qualifications in food safety and quality management.
