Job summary

The role involves supporting the development and deployment of processing equipment solutions within the R&D Processing department, focusing on innovation and quality in production machinery.

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation in automated production equipment development.
• Insight into business processes and cross-functional collaboration for innovative equipment solutions.
• Proficiency in 3D design software, such as Siemens NX or similar.
• Experience with technical document management systems like TeamCenter.
• Knowledge of material properties and surface treatment for material selection.
• Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating equipment tests.
• Understanding of safety requirements and relevant machine design standards.
• Significant experience in machine handling.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to scope projects, focusing on technical solutions and resource estimations.
• Conduct conceptual work based on business needs and external supplier solutions.
• Create 3D and 2D designs in NX, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
• Perform Design Risk Assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Specify and order components in collaboration with procurement and suppliers.
• Prepare test plans, evaluate results, and conduct root cause analysis as necessary.
• Support the handover process to ensure smooth integration into the line organization.
• Participate in After Action Reviews and implement best practices.
