Job summary

This role focuses on the re-engineering of plastic components with integrated electronics, ensuring high quality and performance in product development. The position involves collaboration across various departments to enhance existing elements within a new play system.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in injection moulding and part design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Design Engineering or equivalent.
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent experience with methodologies like MSA and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and re-engineering activities for existing elements with electronic components.
• Implement Six Sigma methodologies for quality assurance.
• Conduct data-driven troubleshooting and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate trade-offs.
• Drive the introduction of new processes and standards in element development.

Skills

• Proficient in 3D CAD design, preferably Siemens NX.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a holistic and analytical approach.
• Excellent collaboration and relationship-building abilities.
• Adaptable and able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

Education

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.

Tools

• Experience with 3D CAD software, Six Sigma tools, and data analysis techniques.
