Senior Electrical Engineer (Energy, Esbjerg or Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves leading the electrical engineering scope for various projects focused on green energy systems. The position is part of a team specializing in high, medium, and low voltage systems, contributing to innovative design projects aimed at sustainability.

Qualifications

• Background as a Certified Electrician, Marine Engineer, or a degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc./B.Eng. or M.Sc.) or similar.
• Proven experience in designing electrical systems, particularly in power plants, district heating, or heavy industries.
• Strong knowledge of medium and low voltage design and specifications.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering efforts in large multidisciplinary and specialized projects from early development to construction.
• Design, develop, optimize, and standardize technical solutions for medium and low voltage systems.
• Create engineering specifications and technical datasheets for electrical equipment, including power transformers and switchgear.
• Collaborate with procurement and manage technical clarifications with vendors.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning processes.

Skills

• Expertise in electrical system design and specification.
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.

Education

• Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Tools

• Familiarity with engineering design software and tools relevant to electrical engineering.
