Senior Electrical Engineer (Energy, Esbjerg or Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves leading the electrical engineering scope for various projects focused on sustainable energy systems. The position is part of a team specializing in high, medium, and low voltage systems, contributing to innovative design projects aimed at closing the gap to a sustainable future.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician (elinstallatør), Marine Engineer (Maskinmester), B.Sc./B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Proven experience in designing electrical systems, preferably in power plants, district heating, or heavy industries.
• Strong knowledge of MV and LV design and specifications.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering tasks in large multidisciplinary and specialized projects from early development to construction.
• Design, develop, optimize, and standardize technical solutions for MV and LV systems.
• Create engineering specifications and technical datasheets for electrical equipment, including power transformers and switchgear.
• Collaborate with procurement and manage technical clarifications with vendors.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning processes.

Education

• Relevant degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
