Senior Electrical Engineer (Energy)

Job summary

This role involves leading electrical engineering efforts in both large multidisciplinary projects and smaller specialized projects, focusing on the design and optimization of MV and LV systems to support sustainable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician (elinstallatør), Marine Engineer (Maskinmester), B.Sc./B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Proven experience in designing electrical systems, ideally in power plants, district heating, or heavy industries.
• Strong knowledge of MV and LV design and specifications.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the electrical engineering scope across all project phases from early development to construction.
• Design and standardize technical solutions for MV and LV systems.
• Create engineering specifications and technical datasheets for electrical equipment, including power transformers and switchgear.
• Collaborate with procurement and manage technical clarifications with vendors.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities.

Education

• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
