Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

Seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer focused on modern infrastructure through Automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and advanced CI/CD practices. This role involves architecting and managing containerized solutions, particularly with Kubernetes, and integrating AI tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE) and containerization technologies.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools including ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Strong background in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Proficient in writing production-grade code in Python or Golang for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC principles.
• Build and manage containerized applications and Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment.
• Drive automation across IT infrastructure to improve reliability and user experience.
• Explore and implement AI tooling for operational efficiency and predictive maintenance.

Skills

• Experience with AI/ML tooling development or integration.
• Familiarity with observability practices, including logging and metrics (e.g., Elastic Stack, Prometheus).
• Advanced troubleshooting and performance optimization in high-traffic Linux environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-native services and SQL/NoSQL database automation.
• Strong collaboration skills within a multi-region team.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible), and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
