Senior Demand Planning Analyst (Supply Chain, Hybrid)

Job summary

The position involves managing demand forecasting and planning for European markets, utilizing data engineering and analytical skills to drive operational decisions. The role requires collaboration across various functions to ensure accurate demand signals and effective supply chain management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Supply Chain Analytics, preferably in e-commerce, food retail, or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of forecasting techniques and metrics, including MAPE and WMAPE.
• Proficiency in SQL for complex queries and data manipulation, along with a good working knowledge of Python for analytical tasks.
• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI for dashboard creation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate forecasting systems, including writing SQL queries and building forecasting models in Python.
• Generate and validate daily and weekly demand plans, ensuring accuracy for procurement and production needs.
• Monitor trends and promotional impacts, adjusting plans as necessary and communicating changes proactively.
• Drive cross-functional alignment in the S&OP planning cycle, collaborating with various stakeholders to manage risks and ensure strategic alignment.

Skills

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for ad-hoc analysis.
• Strong communication skills to present insights and articulate trade-offs to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
