Job summary

This part-time remote freelance position seeks a Senior Data Scraping Engineer with expertise in Python to manage specialized data scraping workflows. The role involves collaborating with AI systems to ensure accurate data extraction and processing from complex web sources.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development.
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
• Proficient in Python web scraping tools (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Selenium) and handling dynamic content.
• Strong background in data cleaning, normalization, and validation.
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI frameworks is advantageous.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2) or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end data extraction workflows, ensuring accuracy and reliability of structured datasets.
• Utilize internal tools (Apify, OpenRouter) and custom workflows for efficient data collection and validation.
• Adapt scraping techniques for dynamic and interactive web sources, including JavaScript-rendered content.
• Maintain data quality through validation checks and consistency controls before delivery.
• Scale scraping operations for large datasets, monitor for failures, and ensure stability against minor site changes.
